I currently study Postgraduate Vocal Performance at Trinity College of Music. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have extensive experience teaching English as a foreign language to adults and children as young as 6 at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, including Business English, with class sizes varying from 1 to 10.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £25 an hour but also can work with students for half hour sessions at £15. For groups of two or more students, I charge a reduced rate of £15 per person per hour.
- Where do you teach?
- I both teach from home and am also willing to travel to give lessons. I am based in Greenwich, close to Charlton, Woolwich, Deptford and Lewisham and can travel to most areas of London.
- When are you available?
- I am available to teach most evenings and weekends and am flexible to fit around the students' availabilities.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I am comfortable working with any age and ability, from beginner, through to intermediate and advanced.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), IELTS, and other EFL exams. In my singing teaching I prepare students for the ABRSM exams.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I gained a high pass in my CELTA qualification for teaching EFL whilst living in Cambridge. I currently study singing with Sophie Grimmer at Trinity College of Music.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I currently have several EFL students ranging from 12 to 55 years in age and from pre-intermediate to advanced in ability. They are all making great progress in the fluency and accuracy of their spoken language, and improving their listening, reading and writing skills at the same time.
