I am a teacher with twenty years experience. I have taught mathematics, physics and science at primary, secondary and third level. I took A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics, gaining three A grades and went on to study these subjects at university. I am a trained teacher with a Master's degree in education, specialising in mathematics and physics.
I have tried to make my lessons as interesting as I can and to engage the students' attention with a variety of material both from course books and from elsewhere. I like to use authentic materials such as newspaper articles and video clips from the news to show students the relevance of these subjects to everyday life and also for their mathematical or scientific value alone.
