I have been teaching for my whole life and have over 40 years experience of teaching at all levels. I have worked with local authorities and taught privately, and am now the director of Malden Young Strings.

I am the director of Malden Young Strings, teaching individual and group classes to children aged 3 - 18. I have over 40 years experience and many of my students have gone on to play violin and viola professionally.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach violin and viola individually and in group classes.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I am an associate of the Royal College of Music - ARCM.
- How much do you charge?
I normally recommend that students come twice a week, once to an individual lesson, and once to a group class. I charge on a monthly basis, and the totaly per month for twice weekly lessons is £75.
This price includes the costs of performing in termly concerts with a professional accompanist, and sheet music costs.
- Where do you teach?
I only teach at home, in Tolworth.
- When are you available?
I am available 6 days a week, for 38 weeks a year (as per the school calendar). I don't teach on Mondays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach 3 - 18 year olds, plus adults. I teach at all levels, and also work with pre-instrumental groups for young children (this includes rhythm and pitch games).
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare my students for all grades.
