B.Sc (Chemistry, Zoology, Microbiology) - What kind of experience do you have?
- I am an examiner for A level Biology (OCR and Edexcel) and have been for the past 10 years.
I have taught at an American Church University in West Africa as Assistant professor of Biology for ten years.
I have taught KS3-KS5 in Bishop Ramsey School for 7 years.
I have also taught in two private schools and FE colleges ( about 4 years)
I have worked as a Clinical Microbiologist for 2 years - How much do you charge?
- For A level Biology I charge £32.00 per hour and for GCSE £30.00 per hour
- Where do you teach?
- I usually tutor from home in Perivale which neighbours with Wembley, Harrow and Ealing. I am very close to Perivale Station on the Central Line.
- When are you available?
- Daily after 4.00pm on weekdays and all day weekends.

- 14-19

- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I am teaching A level Biology to A2 students who are aiming for A* grade. Some of them are planning to do medicine at university or for Oxbridge entry.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- I am an examiner for OCR and Edexcel exam boards and this job helps me to improve students' exam technique. I find that many students are hard working but sometimes don't do well in exams. My teaching includes lots of exam practice particularly in understanding what the examiners require.
