Which subject(s) do you teach?: German at all levels (Beginners, GCSE, A-level, Business, preparation for German Certificate (Goethe Institute)
I am teaching English and Spanish (EFL) at all levels (Beginners - Advanced, first certificate, Business)

Tell me about your qualifications.: University of Cambridge CELTA Teacher (Level 4 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
What kind of experience do you have?: I have lived and worked in Germany, Italy, USA, India, Chile, Spain and now the UK as a Modern Language Teacher and Tutor. I have more than 12 years experience in teaching German and English, at language schools, in private tuition (families and one to one) and Business German and English for the last seven years in Spain. I have also worked as a Culture and Nature Tourguide in Chile (Patagonia, Atacama), tri-lingual. My family is from Chile and we speak Spanish at home. My wife is, apart of her PhD studies, also teaching Spanish.
How much do you charge?: I charge 25 pound an hour, for longer travel an extra charge can be agreed on. Small groups can get a discounts.

Students who book blocks of lessons (10, 20, 30, ...) get a discount
Where do you teach?: I teach at my home in Barnes, but also at the student's home. South-West London, West- London, Hammersmith, Putney. I can travel upto 20 miles outside London. I have a car and I am therefore flexible.
When are you available?: I have maximum flexibility, early morning, morning, afternoon, evening, I am working also at weekends in the morning.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: German I teach all levels and all ages.
English I teach up to advanced and all ages
Spanish I teach up to advanced and all ages
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?: all levels and qualifications in German, including the Goethe German Certificate
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: I have the German and an Britisch CRB certificate
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.: I do my tuition online via SKYPE. I have very good experience with ways of doing online classes. I also accept emails for correspondence. Also phone conversation classes are available.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?: Celta Star (International House Barcelona).
Where and with whom did you train?: I trained at Pädagogische Hochschule Esslingen, Germany (Padagogy and Education).
At International House in Barcelona, Spain (University of Cambridge CELTA).
Tell me about some of your current students.: I am teaching staff a the Deutsche Bank, so that they can communicaid with their German clients.
I am teaching Heidi (42), as she moves to Germany to live there with her husband.
I am teaching Helen (13, from Spain) German and prepare her so she can live and study at a prestgious boarding school in Germany.
Frank (50) is starting German with me to be able to negotiate with his German clients.
Marcial (38) is learning German and English with me as he needs both languages as a logistics manager.
Emma (9) and Charlotte (11) are learing German as part of their family and their grandfathers are from Austria.
I am preparing Fay (13) for her GCSE Exams
and others on request ...
Do you have a personal message for students?: My motivation and my passion are modern languages. When I learned Spanish, suddenly a whole continent could talk to me and I could understand a whole continent. Learning a language is exploring your limits and leaving them behind.
That is why I am simply creating a learning environment and motivation, where true learning can take place. Efficient and communicative teaching of meaningful language, essential grammar, and relevant context will lead to your progress and compentent use of German, English or Spanish.
