I teach Flute and Clarinet.

Tell me about your qualifications.
l.g.s.m. teacher's diploma.

What kind of experience do you have?
I served in HM "Band of the Coldstream Guards",from 1964 to 1972.
From 1972 to Sept 2008 I was a peripatetic woodwind teacher with Lincolnshire Music Services until my retirement.

How much do you charge?
£13 per half hour, or £26 per hour including travelling expenses.

Where do you teach?
I teach in students' home in the areas of Lincoln, Grantham, Sleaford, Bourne and Newark.

When are you available?
I'm available during term times after school from Mondays to Fridays.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach from 8 years old to adults.

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
I have a current CRB certificate.

Where and with whom did you train?
Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall.

Tell me about some of your current students.
A private student achieved distinction marks in all her grade examinations, leading into a successful result of her ABRSM diploma in flute playing. She is also principal flute with the Lincolnshire youth orchestra. I have also taught a royal princess.

Do you have a personal message for students?
Always try to produce a good tone in your practice with developing good posture, with good breath control. Be fit for flute playing.
