Which subject(s) do you teach?
I specialise in teaching the Alexander Technique, Recorders (all levels and instruments) as well as Music Theory and assistance with GCSE and A Level music work.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I completed the 3 year training course at the Constructive Teaching Centre in London to become an Alexander Technique teacher.
I hold a BMus (Hons) degree from the University of Hull, a teaching diploma from Trinity College of Music (LTCL) and I completed one year as a postgraduate at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught the Alexander Technique since 2005. I currently teach AT in the music department at Eton College and Marlborough College.
I have been a music tutor since 1995 and worked with all ages and abilities in a number of institutions from primary schools through to university and music college students.

How much do you charge?
Alexander Technique lessons cost £40 per 40 minute lesson with a reduction for a block booking of 10 lessons.
Recorder lessons and general music lessons cost £35 per hour.

Where do you teach?
I currently teach in West London at the West London Centre for Alexander Technique, 9 Chiswick High Road, W4. This is located on the east side of Chiswick close to Hammersmith and Shepherd's Bush and within a few minutes walk of Stamford Brook tube station on the district line.

When are you available?
Wednesday and Saturday.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages and levels taught.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT);
Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM).

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained with Walter Carrington at the Constructive Teaching Centre in London.
As a musician I studied at the University of Hull and Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Pamela Thorby, Philip Pickett and Gail Hennessey.
