Tell me about your qualifications.
BMus(hons) - Bachelor of music with honours degree
ABRSM:
Grade VIII clarinet
Grade VI Piano
Grade V Theory
A level music, GCSE music
What kind of experience do you have?
As a performer I have played with many wind bands and orchestras. I have performed at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican, Ham House and Hampton Court Palace. I have toured to Brittany, Venice and Germany. I have also performed in amateur musical productions and have worked as a session musician. I currently play with the Wellman clarinet quartet: http://www.w4tet.org/
As a teacher I have good experiecne of teaching a variety of ages and abilities. My students have varied from pre-school children to those who are retired. I have successfully presented pupils for exams and I have taught pupils purely for the pleasure of learning an instrument!
How much do you charge?
I charge £35 per hour for clarinet and £30 per hour for sax, flute, recorder, piano and music theory. Travel expenses are sometimes necessary but this is always negotiable.
Where do you teach?
I teach both at home and at student's homes.
When are you available?
This varies, however I am flexible.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and abilities, everybody is always welcome!
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes and a certificate in Child Protection Awareness.

I adapt to the individual, making sure they are having fun, enjoying what they are learning and ensuring that they are getting the most from the tuition! This is regardless to their age and ability!
